Susan Roughley - Group HR Manager After graduating, Susan started out her working career in September 1986 for Sentinel Security Ltd as a Personnel Administrator before progressing to a Personnel Officer for the National Childrens Homes Ltd in April 1987. During this period, Susan studied for the Institute of Personnel and Development exams and since has become a fellow of the Institute. In October 1988 Susan joined Fraser Russell Chartered Accountants, then a top 20 firm, as a Group Personnel Manager where she had complete responsibility for setting up a Personnel Department, covering 7 offices in the South-East. In November 1998 Susan was asked to join the world-renowned organisation, Lloyd's (formally Lloyd's of London). Susan was the Manager of the Kent site which had approximately 1100 employees and she was responsible for the full operational front line advisory and support service to internal customers. Susan joined Ashcourt in April 2001 and was appointed the role of Group
HR Manager. Susan has over 15 years generalist experience which was
gained in a predominantly professional environment.
